DIN 5684 Chain is a kind of welded fine tolerance hoist chain meeting the requirements of DIN 5684. The chains is grade T ( types T, DAT, DT), which comply with the requirements of DIN EN 818-7. Expectiong type DAT and type DT chains, other grade T chains are not only suitable for chain hoists, but also other lifting equipment.
Usage of differnent types of Chian DIN 5684
T Type – suitable for hand chain hoist or low – speed power – driven link chain hoist without consideration of wear
DAT Type – suitable for power- driven link chain hoist under wear condition
